# Add and delete your profile photo

Your profile photo appears in Carb Manager and is visible to other people in our [Carb Manager community](/docs/en/connect-and-share-with-friends) including friends, family, and others if you post messages in Groups or participate in a [Carb Manager Challenge](/docs/en/join-a-carb-manager-challenge). You can change or delete your photo at any time.

## Add and update your profile photo

1. Go to [Embedded object](https://cdn.document360.io/39f753db-7167-486f-a297-e9dee7536f7d/Images/Documentation/avatar-menu-settings.svg) **Settings**.
2. In the My Settings section, select [Embedded object](https://cdn.document360.io/39f753db-7167-486f-a297-e9dee7536f7d/Images/Documentation/user.svg) **My Profile**.
3. Select your profile photo or the placeholder image for your photo, then select a photo on your mobile device or computer.

## Delete your profile photo

1. Go to [Embedded object](https://cdn.document360.io/39f753db-7167-486f-a297-e9dee7536f7d/Images/Documentation/avatar-menu-settings.svg) **Settings**.
2. In the My Settings section, select [Embedded object](https://cdn.document360.io/39f753db-7167-486f-a297-e9dee7536f7d/Images/Documentation/user.svg) **My Profile**.
3. Select your profile photo.
4. Select **Delete Photo**.
