# Change units of measurement (metric, imperial, and density)

Carb Manager can display measurements of energy, weight, length, and volume in imperial units (such as calories, pounds, feet, and ounces) or metric units (such as kilojoules, grams, and centimeters), or a combination of both units. Carb Manager can also display blood and ketone density in mmol/L or mg/dl. If you track water, you can set the size of your water glass.

To change a unit of measurement, complete these steps.

3. In the **Units**section, select a measurement for any of the following items.
  - **Energy Units:** Choose **Calories** or **Kilojoules**.**Tip:** To track calories or kilojoules in Carb Manager, turn on **Enable Calories/Kilojoules Tracking**. For more information, see [Track energy (calories or kilojoules)](/docs/track-energy-calories-or-kilojoules).
  - **Weight Units:** Choose **Pounds** or **Kilograms**.
  - **Length Units:** Choose **Feet / Inches** or **Centimeters**.
  - **Other Measurement Units**: Choose **U.S. / Imperial** or **S.I. / Metric** (for measurements such as volume).
  - **Water Glass Size:** Enter the **number** of ounces or milliliters that are in each glass of water that you typically drink.
  - **Blood Measurement Density Units:** Choose **mmol/L** or **mg/dl**.
  - **Ketone Density Units:** Choose **mmol/L** or **mg/dl**.
