# Create and edit custom fasting programs

If you are a [Premium member](/docs/en/subscribe-to-carb-manager-premium), you can create, edit, and delete custom fasting programs.

## Create a custom fasting program

1. Go to [Embedded object](https://cdn.document360.io/39f753db-7167-486f-a297-e9dee7536f7d/Images/Documentation/avatar-menu-settings.svg) **Settings**.
2. In the Goal Settings section, select **Intermittent Fasting**.
3. Select **Create Custom Fast**, which appears below the list of fasting programs.
4. In the window that opens, enter a **program name**.
5. Optional: Enter a **description** of your fasting plan.
6. Select the days that you want to fast from the **Choose Days** list. Options include **Weekdays**, **Weekends**, **All Week**, and **Specific Days**.
7. Set an eating window by sliding the start and end times. If you plan to fast only on specific days (and you selected that option in the previous step), select **F****ree Day**for each day that you do not want to fast.
8. Select **Continue**.
9. Review your custom fasting program, then select **Save**. Your custom program appears in the list of fasting programs.
10. Optional: If you're ready to start your custom fasting program, select the program from the list, then select **Start**. For more information, see [Start a fasting program](/docs/start-a-fasting-program).

## Edit a custom fasting program

If you have already created a custom fasting program, complete the following steps to change a custom program's name, description, days, and eating windows. If you previously started the custom program and want to make changes [stop](/docs/en/stop-a-fasting-program) the fast to make edits. Once the changes are saved, [restart](/docs/start-a-fasting-program) the program.

1. Go to [Embedded object](https://cdn.document360.io/39f753db-7167-486f-a297-e9dee7536f7d/Images/Documentation/avatar-menu-settings.svg) **Settings**.
2. In the Goal Settings section, select **Intermittent Fasting**.
3. Select **Edit** next to the custom fast that you want to change.
4. Change any of the custom program's details.
5. Select **Continue**.
6. Review your custom fasting program, then select **Save**. Your changes appear in the list of programs.

**Tip:** If you want to track a fast that is 24 hours or longer, <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html;charset=UTF-8">you can do so by choosing the All-Day Fast option. ## Delete a custom fasting program

1. Go to [Embedded object](https://cdn.document360.io/39f753db-7167-486f-a297-e9dee7536f7d/Images/Documentation/avatar-menu-settings.svg) **Settings**.
2. In the Goal Settings section, select **Intermittent Fasting**.
3. Select **Delete** next to the custom fast that you want to change.
4. In the message that opens, select **Delete** to confirm that you want to delete your custom fasting program.
