# Edit daily log entries

This article describes how to edit items that you previously entered in the daily log. Edit any food entry, including individual foods and recipes. Also edit exercise entries and measurements for blood glucose, ketones, and insulin.

**Tip:** You can also [copy and move daily log entries](/docs/en/copy-and-move-daily-log-entries) or [delete daily log entries](/docs/en/delete-daily-log-entries) from any day.

## Edit a food entry

1. Go to the [Embedded object](https://cdn.document360.io/39f753db-7167-486f-a297-e9dee7536f7d/Images/Documentation/home.svg) **Daily Log**.
2. Optional: To edit a food entry from a day other than today, [select the day](/docs/en/view-any-day-in-the-daily-log) at the top of the screen.
3. Select an entry that you want to edit. Or select [Embedded object](https://cdn.document360.io/39f753db-7167-486f-a297-e9dee7536f7d/Images/Documentation/expander.svg) **Expander** near the side of the entry, then select **Edit**.
4. Edit details about the food, including serving size, amount, and more. Select **Show Advanced** to see additional details. You can edit all of the same details that are available when you logged the food. For more information, see [Log individual foods](/docs/en/log-one-or-more-foods), [Log nutrients](/docs/en/log-and-create-new-foods-quickly), [Log recipes](/docs/en/log-recipes), or [Log meals](/docs/en/log-custom-meals)for more information.**Tip:** You can edit any [custom food](/docs/en/edit-custom-foods), [custom recipe](/docs/en/edit-custom-recipes), or [custom meal](/docs/en/edit-custom-meals) that you created. You can also [edit the nutrients](/docs/en/view-and-edit-nutrition-information-in-foods-recipes-and-meals) for many foods, recipes, and meals.
5. Select **Edit** to save the changes.

## Edit a blood glucose, ketone, or insulin measurement

The following steps describe how to edit blood glucose, ketone, and insulin measurements in the daily log, but note that you can also edit those measurements and other measurements in the Health Goals screen. 1. Go to the [Embedded object](https://cdn.document360.io/39f753db-7167-486f-a297-e9dee7536f7d/Images/Documentation/home.svg) **Daily Log**.
2. Optional: To edit an entry from a day other than today, [select the day](/docs/en/view-any-day-in-the-daily-log) at the top of the screen.
3. Select an entry that you want to edit.
4. Edit details about the measurement.
5. Select **Update** to save the changes.

## Edit an exercise entry

**Note:** You can’t edit or delete measurements that Carb Manager imported from a fitness device or app while the device or app is connected to Carb Manager. If your fitness device or app is still connected to Carb Manager, edit or delete the data on your device or app, then follow the steps in [View wellness data from a fitness device or app](/docs/en/view-wellness-data-from-a-fitness-device-or-app) to sync the updated data with Carb Manager. If you disconnected your fitness device or app from Carb Manager, you can delete imported data in Carb Manager.

1. Go to the [Embedded object](https://cdn.document360.io/39f753db-7167-486f-a297-e9dee7536f7d/Images/Documentation/home.svg) **Daily Log**.
2. Optional: To edit an entry from a day other than today, [select the day](/docs/en/view-any-day-in-the-daily-log) at the top of the screen.
3. Select an entry that you want to edit. Or select [Embedded object](https://cdn.document360.io/39f753db-7167-486f-a297-e9dee7536f7d/Images/Documentation/expander.svg) **Expander** near the side of the entry, then select **Edit**.
4. Edit existing sets, add a set, or update the calories burned. See [Log exercises](/docs/en/log-exercises) for more information.
5. Select **Edit** to save your changes.
