# Invite others to groups

You can invite friends and family to join public groups that you follow or groups that just look interesting. If you’re a [Premium member](/docs/en/subscribe-to-carb-manager-premium), you can also invite others to join public or private [groups that you created](/docs/en/create-and-manage-your-own-groups).

1. Go to ![](https://cdn.document360.io/39f753db-7167-486f-a297-e9dee7536f7d/Images/Documentation/community.svg) **Connect** in the main menu.
2. Select the **Groups** tab.
3. Select **Popular Groups** or **My Groups**.
4. Select a group that you want to invite others to.
5. In the Invite to Group screen, enter one or more **email addresses or usernames**, separated by commas.
6. Select **Send Group Invite**.

The recipient will receive an email invitation with a link to join the group. The invitation will also appear in the **My Groups** > **My Invites** tab of the recipient’s Carb Manager account.
