# Log insulin

If you have a [Premium subscription](/docs/en/subscribe-to-carb-manager-premium), you can enter insulin measurements to a meal (such as Breakfast), snack, or supplement in the daily log and track those measurements over time.

**Tip:** You can also enter insulin and other measurements in the Health Goals screen. For details, see [Add body and health measurements](/docs/en/add-body-and-health-measurements).

1. Go to the [Embedded object](https://cdn.document360.io/39f753db-7167-486f-a297-e9dee7536f7d/Images/Documentation/home.svg) **Daily Log**.**Tip:** The daily log opens to today’s date. To log an item to a different date, select a date from the top of the screen. For more information, see [View any day in the daily log](/docs/en/view-any-day-in-the-daily-log).

4. Choose a **Meal Timing** to indicate whether the reading was before a meal, after a meal, or during a period of fasting
5. Choose an **Insulin Type**.
6. Enter an **Insulin Value**, in units, from the reading.
7. Select **Submit**.

The insulin measurement appears in the daily log.
