# Print recipes

Sometimes it’s nice to have a hardcopy or a printable electronic copy of a recipe on hand. You can generate a printable file of your custom recipes, and [Premium members](/docs/en/subscribe-to-carb-manager-premium) can print Premium recipes.

1. Web app users: Go to the ![](https://cdn.document360.io/39f753db-7167-486f-a297-e9dee7536f7d/Images/Documentation/home.svg) **Daily Log**.
2. Select ![](https://cdn.document360.io/39f753db-7167-486f-a297-e9dee7536f7d/Images/Documentation/add.svg) **Add Item** > [Embedded object](https://cdn.document360.io/39f753db-7167-486f-a297-e9dee7536f7d/Images/Documentation/add-food-btn.svg) **Add Food**.
3. In the food selection screen, do one of the following steps.
  - Select the Recipes tab.
  - Select the My Foods tab.
4. Browse the list of recipes. For more information on search and filtering your search, see [Find foods, recipes, and meals](/docs/en/find-foods-recipes-and-meals).
5. Select a recipe to open its detail screen.
6. Select ![](https://cdn.document360.io/39f753db-7167-486f-a297-e9dee7536f7d/Images/Documentation/more-options-vertical.svg) **Options** > **Print Recipe**.
7. Carb Manager generates a printable version of the recipe, including ingredients and instructions, but not the pictures.
8. When you see a message that says the list is ready to download, select **Download** to view the printable recipe.
9. Send the recipe from your mobile or desktop device to your printer as you normally do.
