# Track water consumption

Set your water goal, record the number of glasses you drink each day, and then monitor your consumption over time.

**Note:** Each glass is 8 ounces, or 355 milliliters, by default, but you can change the size of your water glass in [Embedded object](https://cdn.document360.io/39f753db-7167-486f-a297-e9dee7536f7d/Images/Documentation/settings-app.svg)**App Settings**. For information on metric or Imperial settings, see [Change units of measurement](/docs/en/change-units-of-measurement-metric-imperial-and-density).

## Set your water goal

1. Go to [Embedded object](https://cdn.document360.io/39f753db-7167-486f-a297-e9dee7536f7d/Images/Documentation/avatar-menu-settings.svg) **Settings** and select [Embedded object](https://cdn.document360.io/39f753db-7167-486f-a297-e9dee7536f7d/Images/Documentation/health.svg) **Health** in the Goals section.
2. Under the Core section, set the number of water glasses, and choose whether your goal is to stay above or below that value.

## Log your daily water consumption

You can log water consumption in our mobile app, web app, or Apple Watch app.

### Log water on an Apple Watch

If you use Carb Manager on an [iPhone that is paired with an Apple Watch](https://support.apple.com/guide/watch/set-up-and-pair-your-apple-watch-with-iphone-apdde4d6f98e/watchos) and you [installed Carb Manager on your watch](/docs/en/install-carb-manager-on-an-apple-watch), you can track your water consumption on your watch.

- In the Carb Manager app on your Apple Watch, swipe to view the **Water** screen, then tap a water glass for each glass that you consume. Your water consumption is shared between your watch and Carb Manager on your iPhone.
