# Visualize your macros goals and energy consumption

If you’re a [Premium member](/docs/en/subscribe-to-carb-manager-premium), you can view charts that show how well you meet your [macro goals](/docs/en/set-your-main-goals-with-macros-calculator) and how your macros (that is, your carbs, protein, and fat) contribute to your total energy consumption (calories or kilojoules).

1. Go to ![](https://cdn.document360.io/39f753db-7167-486f-a297-e9dee7536f7d/Images/Documentation/goals.svg) **Goals** in the main menu.
2. Select the **Insights** tab.
3. In the **Insights** tab, select **Change** near the top of the screen, then select **Macros**.
4. From the drop-down list, select the type of information that you want to view.
  - **Ratio vs Goal**: View your actual and goal macros ratio, in grams and percentages.
  - **Ratio Over Time**: View daily macros ratio percentages.
  - **Calories/Kilojoules Over Time**: View the energy (calories/kilojoules) you consumed and your actual ratios of carbs, protein, and fat for each day.
  - **Grams Over Time**: View the grams you consumed on a graph that displays your actual ratio of carbs, protein, and fat for each day.
5. Select a button for a period of time, such as **30 days**, to view data for your logs during that period. If you select **Custom**, a calendar opens where you can select a date range

Carb Manager displays your information in charts and provides additional information to help you understand your macro consumption.
