Some user may wish to set health goals in addition to macros goals. 

At a minimum, we recommend that users who are tracking carbs for weight loss purposes set a "weight" goal. Optionally, you can also set goals for BMI, body fat, and other body measurement-related metrics.

Users who are tracking carbs in order to assist with managing a medical condition (diabetes, epilepsy, etc.) may want to set goals specific to their condition, such as tracking blood glucose, cholesterol, or other metrics. In these cases, consult with your physician for advice on setting the proper goals.

Carb Manager allows you to set these health goals:

  • Arm Size
  • Forearm Size
  • Calf Size

  • Serum Triglycerides
  • Total Serum Cholesterol
  • Blood Pressure (Sys)
  • Blood Pressure (Dia)
  • Blood Glucose
  • Blood Glucose (Before Meals)
  • Blood Glucose (After Meals)
  • Blood Glucose (Fasting)
  • Ketones
  • Glucose Ketone Index
  • Fasting Hours
  • Eating Window

To configure any of these health goals, select Settings from the main (left) navigation menu.

Select the Health Goals tab. Scroll down and find the goal that you'd like to configure. Then, type in the numerical amount of your goal, and choose whether your goal is to stay above or below this number (greater than or less than).

Once you've set a goal, you can monitor your progress in the My Measurements section.

Select the appropriate tab for the goal that you're tracking, and select the exact metric from the drop down. Goal progress can be viewed in the chart, as shown below.
