You can measure ketone levels by a urine test, blood test, or breath test. Select your usual testing method to receive the most accurate data when you log ketone readings.
- Go to Settings.
- In My Settings, select App Settings.
- In the Units section, select Ketones Measured and choose one of the following options.
- Urine Test (AcAc)
- Blood Test (BHB)Tip: When Premium members log Ketone and Blood Glucose measurements, Carb Manager will automatically calculate the Glucose Ketone Index, which provides insight into your overall metabolic health and level of ketosis. Select Blood Test (BHB) as your ketone testing method, then log Beta-hydroxybutyrate (BHB) Ketone and Blood Glucose measurements for the same meal. - Breath Test (BrAc)
