View top food contributors for macros and micronutrients

Carb Manager tracks all of the macros and many micronutrients in the foods you log. If you’re a Premium member, you can access the Foods section of the Insights tab to view lists of foods that have contributed the most to specific macros or nutrients, such as Protein, Cholesterol, or Zinc. You can analyze all foods together or analyze a specific meal, snack, or supplements.

Carb Manager lists the amount of the macro or nutrient in the food you consumed and displays how often you ate the food during the time period you select.

  1. Go to Goals in the main menu.
  2. Select the Insights tab.
  3. In the Insights tab, select Change near the top of the screen, then select Foods.
  4. From the first drop-down list (which is on the left side of the screen if you’re using the web app), select a macro or nutrient, such as Calories, Fiber, or Iron.
  5. From the second drop-down list (which is on the right side of the screen if you’re using the web app), select All Meals or a specific meal, such as Dinner Only.
  6. Select a button for a period of time, such as 30 days, to view data for your logs from that period. If you select Custom, a calendar opens where you can select a date range.  

Carb Manager displays a list of top contributors. Carb Manager lists the food, the amount of the macro or nutrient in the food, and how often you ate the food within the time period you selected. Carb Manager also indicates how much more or less of the macro or nutrient you consumed during the selected period than you consumed in the prior period.

Tip: Select a food to view its details and to see the option to add the food to the daily log.
