In general, the nutrition values of all common foods (vegetables, eggs, meats, etc.) are the same around the world. In the United Kingdom, New Zealand, South Africa, and Australia, nutrition labels already subtract fiber when listing carbs, so total carbs equal net carbs.
Our database takes this difference into account, but users from these countries will want to track net carbs.
Some users are concerned our database has deducted fiber twice. The branded foods from Australia, NZ, and the UK, show the total carbs value with fiber deducted, but the Carb Manager database generally accounts for the difference by adding fiber back in to get "total carbs," and then uses the label's total carbs as net carbs.
