Delete your Carb Manager account and data

If you want to stop using Carb Manager, you can delete your account and all of your data, including logs, measurements, and goals. Our support team cannot undo this change. You can delete your account and data directly from within your Carb Manager account on your mobile device or through the web version at my.carbmanager.com. You can also ask us to delete your account and data by contacting the support team through the app or by email at support@carbmanager.com.
Delete a registered account and data (mobile app and web app)
To delete your registered Carb Manager account and data, complete these steps.
- If you have a Premium subscription, cancel your subscription to prevent your subscription from automatically renewing.
- Sign in to Carb Manager.
- Go to Settings.
- In the My Settings section, select Account Settings.
- Select Delete My Account.
- Enter delete in the field to confirm that you want to delete your Carb Manager account and data.
- Select Delete My Account.
- Optional: Uninstall the Carb Manager mobile app from your device.
Your registered account and all of its data will be permanently deleted.
Delete an anonymous account and data (mobile app)
If you use Carb Manager anonymously (which means you don’t have a registered Carb Manager account) complete the following steps to delete your anonymous Carb Manager account and data.
- If you have a Premium subscription, cancel your subscription to prevent your subscription from automatically renewing.
- Open your Carb Manager app on your mobile device.
- Go to Settings.
- In the My Settings section, select Account Settings.
- Select Delete Account.
- Enter delete in the field to confirm that you want to delete your Carb Manager account and data.
- Select Delete My Account.
- Optional: Uninstall the Carb Manager mobile app from your device.
Your anonymous account and all of its data will be permanently deleted.
Contact Support to Delete an account and data (mobile or web app)
- If you have a Premium subscription, cancel your subscription to prevent your subscription from automatically renewing.
- Sign in to Carb Manager or if using Carb Manager anonymously, open the app on your mobile device.
- Go to Settings.
- In the About section, selectHelp & Support.
- Choose Contact Support. A dialogue window pops up where you can share your request with the Support Team. Include the email address or username associated with the account. If you don't remember your email address and username, you'll find them here:
- Go to Settings.
- In the My Settings section, select Account Settings.
Once we receive your request, we'll delete your account and data and reply with a confirmation as soon as possible.
Contact Support to Delete an account and data (email)
You can send us an email at support@carbmanager.com to request your account and data deletion. Please include the email address or username associated with the account. If you don't remember your email address and username, you'll find them here:
- Go to Settings.
- In the My Settings section, select Account Settings.
Once we receive your request, we'll delete your account and data and reply with a confirmation as soon as possible.
Data Types Deleted
Details of the data that you might have submitted to us can be viewed in the App Privacy section of our App Store page or the Data Safety section of our Google Play page.
When you initiate the data deletion process, we delete all data types you might have submitted via our app, including, but not limited to, name, email address, demographics, logged foods, logged exercises, health measurements, and friend requests or invites stored in our systems. We are unable to delete any custom foods or exercises that you created. However, such data can no longer be linked to your identity.
Once your data is deleted, we cannot restore your account or access any data that was previously linked to you.
