Find exercises

Whether you want to add an exercise to the daily log or you want to find ideas and instructions, search our extensive database for exercises that match your interests and goals.

View all exercises

Complete these steps to browse or search for any exercise in our database.

  1. Web app users: Go to the Daily Log.
    Tip: The daily log opens to today’s date. To log an item to a different date, select a date from the top of the screen. For more information, see View any day in the daily log.
  2. Select Add Item(image of Exercise button) Exercise.
    Tip: You can also go to the Daily Workout section of the Daily Log and select the Add Exercise button.
  3. In the Exercises screen, select the Browse Exercises tab if it isn’t already selected.
  4. In the Browse Exercises tab, select the All button and select All again from the drop-down list to include every exercise, both cardio and strength.
  5. Browse the exercises, and use one or a combination of the following steps to refine the list of items:
    • Select one of the following buttons: Cardio or Strength.
    • Select Recently Viewed or Favorites from the drop-down list. If you previously added favorite exercises, they will appear with a Heart when you view exercises
    • To search for an exercise, enter a name or description in the Search field.
    • To find an exercise based on specific criteria, select Filter in the Search field, then choose a muscle group or equipment type for strength exercises or difficulty for either type and select Apply.
      Tip: After you apply a filter, Carb Manager will filter all future searches. To reset the filter, select Filter, then select Clear Filters.
  6. Select an exercise to open its detail screen where you can choose from three or four tabs to either, log the exercise, learn about the exercise, or view your history or statistics for the exercise.

View My Exercises

The My Exercises tab lists all custom exercises that you created. Complete these steps to browse or search your exercises in the My Exercises tab.

  1. Web app users: Go to the Daily Log.
  2. In the daily log, do one of the following steps.
    • Select Add Item > (image of Exercise button) Exercise.
    • Go to the Daily Workout section and select the Add Exercise button.
  3. In the Exercises screen, select the My Exercises tab.
  4. Browse the exercises, and use one or a combination of the following steps to refine the list of items:
    • Select one of the following buttons: Cardio or Strength.
    • Select Recently Viewed or Favorites from the drop-down list. If you previously added favorite exercises, they will appear with a Heart when you view exercises.
    • To search for an exercise, enter a name or description in the Search field.
