If you have Premium subscription, you can set goals for a variety of micronutrients, including sodium, potassium, and more. Set your own custom goals or set goals based on Dietary Reference Intake recommendations from the U.S. National Institutes of Health.
Keto note: If you follow the Keto diet, you generally don’t need to track anything other than carbs, proteins, and fats, but some people do need to track specific micronutrients for medical or personal reasons.
Set recommended goals or custom goals for micronutrients
- Go to Settings.
- In the Goal Settings section, select Micronutrient.
- Complete either of the following steps.
- To set goals based on Dietary Reference Intake recommendations from the U.S. National Institutes of Health, turn on Enable DRI in the Dietary Reference Intakes (DRI) section.
- To set custom goals, select each goal that you want to track, enter a value and choose whether your goal is to stay above or below that value.Tip: To set goals for electrolytes, set individual goals for calcium, magnesium, potassium, and sodium.
Carb Manager automatically saves your goals.
Tip: To view your progress on micronutrient goals over time, go to Goals. See View and analyze historical progress toward goals for details.
