Carb Manager Challenges are friendly competitions within the Carb Manager community. Challenges can help you get and stay motivated about your diet and health goals. You earn points by logging your foods, keeping under your carb goal, hitting your macros, drinking enough water, and exercising. Each challenge lasts for four weeks, and a new challenge starts every Monday. You can join or leave a challenge at any time.

Tip: To view complete Challenge guidelines, go to  Connect in the main menu and select the Challenges tab. If you’re not currently in a challenge, the guidelines appear on the main screen. If you are in an active challenge, select the Details tab to view the guidelines.

Join or rejoin a challenge

  1. Go to  Connect in the main menu.
  2. Select the Challenges tab.
  3. Select Join Challenge or Rejoin Challenge.
  4. Review the medical disclaimer and select Join.
Note: If you leave a challenge, you can rejoin the same challenge within the first week (Monday to Sunday), and your previous accumulation of points will return with you. Otherwise, join a new challenge on the following week to start over

The Carb Manager Challenge section of the daily log shows a summary of the points you earn and your rank among your competition. For more detailed information about your challenge, see Track your Carb Manager Challenge.

Leave a challenge

Do either of the following steps.

  • Go to the Daily Log, go to the Carb Manager Challenge section, and select Leave Challenge. (The Carb Manager Challenge section of the daily log appears below the list of daily log entries on a small screen or on the right side of a large screen.)
  • Go to Connect in the main menu, select the Challenges tab, and select Leave Challenge.
Note: If you leave a challenge, you can rejoin the same challenge within the first week (Monday to Sunday), and your previous accumulation of points will return with you. Otherwise, join a new challenge on the following week to start over.
