Article Summary

You can view nutrition information for foods, recipes, and meals. If you see details that don’t match your actual food, you can edit the information. Any changes that you make apply only to your account and will not update the nutrition information in our database. However, if you edit an item that appears in My Foods, you can save your changes to the database as a member contribution.

Tip: To request a change to our database, see Report errors in nutrition information.
Important: When you edit an item’s nutrition information, the changes you make are applied to items that you log in the future and items that you previously logged. If you don’t want to change the nutrition information for items that you previously logged, create a custom food, custom recipe, or custom meal instead.
