To keep your steps and activity showing up in Carb Manager, you'll need to reconnect your Fitbit using your Google account. It only takes about a minute, and your data picks up right where it left off.
Note: Syncing with Fitbit/Google Health requires a Premium subscription. For details about which data syncs, see Sync wellness data between Fitbit/Google Health and Carb Manager.
Why do I need to reconnect?
Google is retiring the older connection that apps like Carb Manager use to receive Fitbit data and replacing it with a newer, more secure one. Your existing connection can't be moved over automatically, so we need your permission again.
Will I lose my data?
Your Fitbit data isn't lost. As long as you keep syncing your device to the Google Health app, it's still there. If you don't reconnect, your Fitbit activity will stop appearing in Carb Manager once Google turns off the old connection.
How to reconnect
Before you start: make sure you can sign in to the Google Health app with your Google account. If you still use a Fitbit login, move your Fitbit account to Google first.
Open Carb Manager and tap Settings.
Tap App Settings, then go to the Health & Fitness Device Links section.
Select Fitbit, then tap Connect.
Sign in with the Google account linked to your Fitbit.
On the permissions screen, make sure every box is checked. Anything left unchecked won't sync to Carb Manager. Then tap Allow.
Fitbit stopped syncing? Here's how to fix it
If your Fitbit activity has stopped showing up in Carb Manager, the old connection has probably been turned off. Follow the steps under How to reconnect above. Once you're reconnected, open the Google Health app on your phone and sync your device, then open Carb Manager to refresh your dashboard.
