If you have a Premium subscription, turn on the Smart Macros feature to automatically adjust your macro and calorie or kilojoule goals as your weight changes or if you change your activity level in your profile. With Smart Macros, Carb Manager recalculates your goals each time you log a weight measurement. When you reach your weight goal, Carb Manager changes your goal to a maintenance goal to help you maintain your weight.
Note: When the Smart Macros feature is on, your recalculated macro goals appear in a chart in the daily log. The goals you initially set cannot be changed while the Smart Macros feature is on.
- Go to Settings.
- In the Goals section, select Macros Calculator.
- Go to the My Macronutrient Goals section, and turn on the Smart Macros setting.
- Go to the bottom of the screen and select Apply Macros Goals.
Tip: For best results with the Smart Macros option, be sure to completely set up your profile, energy (calorie or kilojoule) and macro goals, and weight goal first. Later, update your activity level and add weight measurements as they change.
Tip: To view progress toward your goals, see View progress and gain insights toward goals.
