Article Summary

If you have a Premium subscription and a fitness device, the easiest method to track your steps is to sync Carb Manager to your fitness device so Carb Manager can automatically log your steps. Or complete the steps in this article to manually log steps in Carb Manager.

Tip: You can set a goal for the number of steps you want to take each day. For details, see Set health goals for weight, activity, fasting, and more.
Important: If some of your steps for the day are part of active exercises, such as walking a dog uphill for 30 minutes, search for the specific exercise in our database and log your steps as an exercise instead of steps. For details, see Log exercise.
  1. Go to the Home icon Daily Log.
Tip: The daily log opens to today’s date. To log an item to a different date, select a date from the top of the screen. For more information, see View any day in the daily log.
  2. Go to the Daily Workout section and select Options icon OptionsSteps icon Add Steps.
  3. Optional: Enter an Exercise name.
  4. Enter the number of steps that you took that were not part of an active exercise.
  5. Select Quick Add.

Your total steps for each day appear above the steps you logged.
