Article summary

Due to changes by Google, data from the Google Fit app will no longer directly sync with Carb Manager as of April 17th, 2024. For more information, see our article.
If you have a Premium subscription, Carb Manager can connect directly or indirectly with several fitness devices and apps and share data between them.

The Fitness and health data chart below shows which data Carb Manager imports and exports.

Important: If you sync a fitness device or app with Carb Manager and you turned on the option to deduct energy (calories or kilojoules) when you log exercise, be sure the activity level you selected in your profile matches your daily lifestyle and your intention to log activity from a synced fitness device or app. If you previously set a high activity level because you exercise and your daily activity primarily consists of exercise that you intend to log in Carb Manager, then select Sedentary as your activity level to ensure Carb Manager doesn’t count the energy that you burn twice.

Direct connections

If you want to sync Carb Manager with data from Fitbit, Garmin, Apple Health, Apple Watch, Google's Health Connect, or a BIOSENSE® ketone monitor, see one of the following articles.

Indirect connections

If Carb Manager doesn’t connect directly with your preferred device or app, you may still be able to sync its data with Carb Manager. See one of the following sections for your device or app.

Other devices that integrate with Apple Health

If you have a fitness device that integrates with Apple Health, connect your device to Apple Health and then sync Apple Health/Apple Watch to Carb Manager.

Note: To integrate another third-party device with Apple Health, see the instructions provided by the manufacturer of your device.
